The Mourillon beaches
A few minutes from the centre, the Mourillon beaches line their coves of fine sand facing the sailboats. Palm trees, lawns, play areas and small restaurants: the district feels like a tiny seaside resort. People meet here in the late afternoon, walk barefoot on warm sand and share an ice cream on a bench. On fine summer evenings, the lights of the bay turn every conversation into a memory.
The coastal path to the Mitre
From Mourillon, the coastal path climbs toward Pointe de la Mitre, then runs along the limestone cliffs. Coves reveal themselves one after another, the water is turquoise and the parasol pines smell of resin. An ideal walk for two to really talk, far from the noise, before heading down to the small Anse Méjean for a swim together.
Setting sail for the Hyères Islands
From Toulon’s quays, a boat reaches the Hyères Islands in under an hour: Porquerolles and its clear waters, Port-Cros and its nature reserve, and the more discreet Le Levant.
